The Euroglass Story

Quality, Innovation & Service

Euroglass Australia Pty Ltd is the name behind Peter and Jane’s glass supply and installation business in Brisbane. Their passion and dedication have seen the business grow into a large installation and manufacturing team designing, installing and servicing Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. Our success has come from providing experienced guidance to having our design and installation teams, trade, and architects keep the highest quality for the end user to enjoy for many years.

The Euroglass Journey

1989

Euroglass was founded by Peter and Jane Condon to market and install frameless glass shower screens on the Gold Coast. This was the original frameless glass shower screen business in Queensland.

1992

The business grew into an incorporated company and employed four staff.

1994

The company expanded into Brisbane and soon after moved its main operation to Brisbane while still servicing the Gold Coast.

1997

The company took possession of its first commercial premises, setting up the first frameless glass showroom in Queensland.

1999

The company expanded its product range by adding frameless pool fencing and balustrading. It also completed its first large commercial project – Park Avenue Apartments at South Bank beside the Goodwill Bridge.

2002

An expansion of the Gold Coast branch saw it move into commercial premises in Burleigh Heads.

2003

Frameless glass bi-folding and stacking door assemblies were added to our range. The company had now grown to 10 staff.

2005

This was a very significant year when Euroglass opened its 2000m2 state-of-the-art processing facility in Hemmant Brisbane, investing $1.8M in high-tech machinery. Two major projects, Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast and Peninsular Apartments at Airlie Beach, were completed.

2006

A third branch was opened on the Sunshine Coast.

2008

This was a watershed year when turnover and production were at their optimum since the formation of the business.

2009

Due to the global financial crisis and a massive downturn in international liquidity, luxury residential buildings almost came to a halt in Queensland. This resulted in the closure of the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast branches running into early 2010.

2010

Euroglass separated out its processing/manufacturing facility in Hemmant, and a new independent processing company was formed.

2011

Euroglass completed Mon Komo residential apartment towers at Redcliffe with some 320 units.

2012

Upgrading of machinery and equipment in the factory to maintain high processing standards and improve efficiency.

2013

Euroglass has a combined staff of 30 employees with an aim to increase combined turnover by 20% over the next three years. Notable projects completed in the previous two years include Energex Nundah, Ergon Townsville, Four Points at Sheraton, and Seahaven Noosa.

2014

Euroglass celebrates 25 years in the frameless glass industry. Projects partially completed include Capri Hotel Brisbane, Brisbane Square redevelopment and the Royal Albert Hotel.

2015

Due to the strength of our team, this has enabled Euroglass to work on both residential and commercial projects this year.

2016

As we continue to grow and evolve, the dedication of our team has ensured a consistently high degree of professionalism and a hassle-free experience.

2017

This year saw the introduction of another installation team and further expansion while completing Pullman Ibis airport hotels, and Hamilton Reach apartments. An emphasis was put on finding cost efficiencies through the supply chain.

2018

A year of consolidation having completed the new "Novotel" at Southbank as well as several smaller luxury apartment blocks, including the notable "Wallan" Kangaroo Point.
